Private Access Code Overview
Normally, when a client publishes an exam, any candidate can register for the exam. There are instances when the client wants to make the exam private, so they can control which candidates can register for the exams. For instance, the client wants to allow any candidate to register for a public exam that is delivered in a test center. But they also want to conduct a training seminar or an event and, at the conclusion of the event, only allow the candidates that attended the event to register for and complete the exam in the Anywhere Proctored delivery mode (Client proctored - no appointment required) with the trainer of the seminar proctoring the exam.
In order to facilitate these restricted or private registrations, clients can apply Private Access Codes (PAC) to an exam that is delivered in the Anywhere Proctored delivery mode. Candidates must provide the PAC to register for the exam. The PACs are required to prevent confusion for the general candidate users who are registering for standard test center deliveries.
Clients define their own Private Access Codes using the Private Access Code application within the Navigator portal.
