Proctoring overview

The Pearson VUE Proctoring application was designed for both proctors that administer Client proctored - no appointment required events, and for Proctoring administrators who wish to view the proctoring events their own proctors have created.

The Proctoring application allows proctors to unlock candidate exams at a Client proctored - no appointment required event from a single, centralized location, rather than moving from workstation to workstation. Prior to a Client proctored - no appointment required event proctors must create a Proctoring event which generates an event code. At the Client proctored - no appointment required event, candidates enter the event code during the admissions process requesting that the proctor unlock their exam. Proctors then open the Proctoring event and unlock the candidate exams. Candidates may begin the exam immediately after the exam has been unlocked.
